About this tool
Understanding Sarcoma was built for a sarcoma clinic to help patients and their families make sense of a diagnosis that is rare, varied, and often confusing. It turns the technical details of a case into a clear, personalized education document you can read at home and bring to your next appointment.
How it works
- You enter what you know — diagnosis, and any of the optional case details (grade, IHC, stage, ECOG, treatment).
- An AI assistant, prompted to act as a sarcoma patient educator, generates a structured Markdown booklet grounded in NCCN, ESMO, and live PubMed + ClinicalTrials.gov evidence.
- The booklet is rendered in your browser and can be downloaded as a PDF.
Guidelines referenced
- NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines — Soft Tissue Sarcoma
- NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines — Bone Cancer
- ESMO–EURACAN–GENTURIS Clinical Practice Guidelines — Soft Tissue and Visceral Sarcomas
- ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines — Bone Sarcomas
- Connective Tissue Oncology Society (CTOS) consensus papers
Limitations
- The model can be wrong. Always verify specifics with your sarcoma team.
- It does not access your medical record or live literature databases. It uses general guideline knowledge applied to the details you share.
- It does not name specific drug doses or replace a treatment plan.
Privacy
